ARTIST INFO:

Bobbi Carlyle
Bobbi's piece was presented to the library as a gift from Gayle Lipsig, the co-founder of Art 'Round Town, in 2001.

Bobbi Carlyle received her art degree from Brigham Young University in Utah. She has taught at the Colorado Institute of Art.

Carlyle creates sculptures in bronze and stone, executed with imagination and vitality, in subjects ranging from wildlife to western to figurative. She says her work "carries a strong psychological appeal, dealing with the full spectrum of emotion, struggles and triumphs of life." Her own life struggles and her seven children have inspired many of her works.
