I am a self-taught sculptor. While in graduate school I saw a
large Calder mobile in the Des Moines Art Museum, and decided
I had to learn how to make one. I read books, looked at pictures,
and visited museums to study works of Calder and other artists. |
I also experimented
a lot to learn how to cut, bend, and weld, and paint metal. I
never sold many works until the advent of the Internet and E-Bay.
Now I have sold works literally all over the world. More of my

Any sculpture that fails to bring a smile to the face of the
viewer, really isn't worth
