James Havens
Jim is the owner and operator, Havens Studio and The Rose Bronze
Foundry, Gibsonburg, Ohio. He also is an instructor at Owens
Community College, Toledo, Ohio. He is a member of many local
and national sculpture organization. His work has been exhibited
in Ohio, NJ, Chicago and Detroit.
My idols are the sculptors of the past: Michelangelo, Donatello,
Rodin, David
Smith, Calder and a few others. These few did it best and if
I could be just 1/10th as
good I would consider my career in sculpture to be a success. |
