my sculpture has always been my personal meditation. sculpture, in my mind, is what makes me a vital part of society. by sculpting i am sharing my true heart with
others, with this communication there are no set boundaries there is only the raw nature of intimate contact... words do not express the meaning of my work... there is no tangible meaning, hopefully there is an experience of feeling.., emotional, physical, mental and spiritual, my desire this lifetime has been to positively contribute to this planet, sculpture has been my medium to do just this.

sculpture is a reflection of all that is positive in my life, when i’m in the studio there
is a connection between the stone, the universe and my being. i feel that my
sculptures are as old as time and should reflect some of the wisdom of the stone.
they are not slick representations of a fast moving urban society. these sculptures
are a meditation, a deeply respectful view of the planet and the process of living. it
could be said that I am experiencing the past through the energy of the stone, it
feels sometimes as though i am not in the here and now, but communicating with
ancestors through the bones of the earth.

my belief is that we owe this life our best energy and effort, it is our responsibility to
contribute to the planet and the people who inhabit her, my positive contribution is
sculpting. the power that i experience while communicating with the stone makes
me a better person and hopefully I share that positive energy with others through
the viewing and touching of each sculpture.
